Kuwait is the best performing stock market in 2019

January 12, 2020 - Kuwait Financial Market gains 23.7% in All Share Index, and 32.4% in Premier market Index, with the banking stocks on top rising by 35.7% during 2019. Surely 2019 has been a positive year for the GCC market (+8.3%), with Kuwait leading the Gulf region stock markets.

The Markaz report said that Bahrain is the second biggest gainer in 2019, an impressive + 20.4% not expected after the flat performance of 2018. In the Emirates, Dubai gains 9.3% meanwhile Abu Dhabi’s economy gains 3.3% during 2019. Saudi Arabia’s closes the year with a +7.2 percent despite its MSCI emerging market inclusion.
