This will be followed by a question and answer session with cruise line executives in which they’ll explain what they look for when potential partners are pitching to them. Bo Larsen, CLIA’s senior vice-president, strategic partnerships, said: “I am delighted that we have an incredibly diverse range of cruise lines attending both these events, from all sectors of the cruise industry.
I look forward to welcoming all our participants and continuing to strengthen the global cruise industry. The Port & Destination Summit, a unique platform for networking and growth for the port and destination community, takes place in Lisbon on September 17 and 18, prior to Seatrade Cruise Med, the largest cruise industry gathering in Europe. More than 45 cruise line executives are expected to participate in interactive sessions on a range of topics, including itinerary planning, port operations, and shore excursions.
Summit at Sea will take place from October 11 to 14 2018, onboard the largest ship in the world, Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas SM. More than half the cabins sold in the first 10 days after going on sale, however there are still a few available to be booked.
