ECG announces launch of Course 11 of ECG Academy

November 8, 2016 - ECG (The Association of European Vehicle Logisticsis) proud to announce the commencement of Course 11 of its prestigious ECG Academy. The Academy is currently in its 11th year and already boasts almost 200 alumni. Course 11 will take place over 5 modules and 24 days with a combination of intensive practice oriented training and classroom work. These modules will be held at different locations around Europe to give the participants insight into the practical realities of the different elements that make up the vehicle logistics industry. The first module took place from 17th to 21st October in Hamburg, Germany. 21 students from 18 companies are enrolled on the course and will work towards receiving a Certificate in Automobile Logistics Management. As the vehicle logistics sector has traditionally been male-dominated the ECG Academy is particularly proud of the gender balance on all its courses. In recent years, an increasing and significant proportion of its students are female*. ECG members are clearly committed to the best use of talent within their companies and to supporting female employees throughout their careers. The ECG Academy was developed in response to demand for specialist training for young managers working in the finished vehicle logistics sector. The course is fully accredited and unique in the industry. The Certificate is an essential qualification for staff in the sector and helps them deliver the highest possible standard of services to their customers.
