Visitors can expect to see industry trade stands, featuring attractive competitions and prizes. Yachting Pages, a leading media group for the superyacht industry, are set to hold a captains and crew competition on stand Palais 0015. Superyacht captains and crew could win a unique Egret One electric bike from Walberg Urban Electrics, a selection of The North Face luggage from FunAir, and an Apple Watch from Veritais. Guests to the stand can also experience a free massage from Bertrand Poncet Massages, wine provided by Chateau Malherbe as well as canapés and champagne by Creatio Yacht Management Solutions from 6pm on Friday 11th September.
Earlier this month, Cannes Yachting Festival announced plans to expand the show, with the addition of ‘La Terrasse’ for 2016. For the first time, global luxury brands outside of the yachting industry will be able to participate in the show including, cars, private jets, fashion houses, watch makers, jewellers, real estate, interior design and gastronomy. This will mark the event’s attempt at bringing together yachting and luxury brands, and according to Cannes Yachting Festival, will be ‘the new hub at the heart of the show’.
