Cooperative mobility aided by communication and data sharing services between vehicles and infrastructure is becoming more common. The vision is that this becomes reality by 2020s.
The outcomes of the international Celtic Plus CoMoSeF project will be presented at the project conclusion in Tampere on 1 July. This event will include a demonstration of the interactive roadside weather monitoring station and vehicles communicating with it, developed at VTT and the Finnish Meteorological Institute. One of these test units has been installed on the exit ramp between the Hervanta feeder road and the E63 main road.
